The objective of the present investigation was to detect if in the students of the Academic Unit of Tourism of the Autonomous University of Nayarit, suffers of micromachism considering the familiar, academic and couple relationship.
The research was carried out with a quantitative approach and the type of research is descriptive, not experimental and transversal. The sample was non-probabilistic, 50 women participated in the study. A questionnaire of 23 items was used.
It is concluded that the gender issue is well known, in the context of couples students suffer from micromachism although not in high percentages and that the root of this type of violence is in the family, with their parents and mainly with siblings.
