Institutional management of the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California against the quality indicators of the global rankings

This paper characterizes the institutional management of the Universidad Autonoma
de Baja California (UABC) and its orientation to the international quality indicators expressed through global rankings, since in 2017 it was incorporated into the Times Higher Education and Quacquarelli Symonds as a quality and prestigious institution in Latin America. The priority axis of the work is to explore the management of this university, with the aim of analyzing and publicizing the strategies implemented and the results obtained. The a priori results indicate that the UABC's incorporation into the rankings responds to the
efforts directed towards internationalization, and it was also identified the specific strategies towards positioning in the rankings.
