Influencia de Internet y redes sociales en rasgos de personalidad de estudiantes universitarios

El objetivo es analizar la influencia de Internet y redes sociales en rasgos de
personalidad de estudiantes universitarios. Se aplicaron escalas de Adicción a Internet,
redes sociales y el Inventario de Personalidad (NEO-FFI). El estudio es no experimental,
transversal descriptivo. La muestra fue no probabilística de tipo homogénea conformada
por 173 participantes. Se realizó la prueba χ² resultando significativo en personalidades de
apertura a la experiencia (p<0.004) y responsabilidad (p<0.043). El coeficiente de
correlación de Pearson no presentó significancias entre resultados de especificidad de las
pruebas empleadas. Se concluye que el sexo puede ser un factor asociado a las
personalidades analizadas, pero no se encontró una relación significativa con el uso de
Internet y acceso a las redes sociales.
