This article summarizes that to adapt to the needs of today's society, higher education institutions must be flexible and develop ways of integrating information and communication technologies in training processes. At the same time, it is necessary to apply a new conception of student-users, as well as role changes in teachers and administrative changes in relation to communication systems and the design and distribution of teaching. All this implies, changes in the teaching-learning canons towards a more flexible model, due to all the technological advances; with the objective of determining the use of ICT in education; with a methodology of descriptive research and bibliographic documentary compilation.
