General abilities of graduates, requirements for the transition from training to employment

Abstract

The training of university professionals face the challenge in the process of employing, particularly the great changes that are modifing the social relationships; the information revolution, the knowledge society, the sustainable dimension and the arbitrary process in the working market, this last one turn into a rising unemployment, a falling in the real salary, the minimum wage only as a unit of measure, the establishment of informal employment and, in general, the labor impoverishment.

This situation is determining that, the transition from professional training to employment is a real challenge for young graduates, this should assume the need to ensure that this transition is strengthened in the educational process with the integration of general abilities, it means, not only the acquisition of disciplinary contents but also recover language skills, management of technologies, oral written expression, business management, and others.
