Estudios sobre familia: Un análisis bibliométrico

La investigación científica sobre temáticas de familia se ha incrementado considerablemente en los últimos años lo que demuestra la relevancia de esta área de la ciencia para la sociedad. El objetivo del artículo es analizar las principales contribuciones científicas en este campo, con el soporte metodológico del análisis bibliométrico. Se consideran tres variables: estructuras familiares, comportamientos familiares y relaciones familiares. La información se analiza con indicadores bibliométricos que incluyen citaciones y h-index. Se utiliza el software VOSviewer para generar mapas que muestran las tendencias principales. El análisis considera, artículos científicos, revistas científicas, autores, instituciones y países. Entre los principales resultados se destacan que, hay un incremento en el número de publicaciones relacionadas con temáticas de familia, así como un incremento de diversas áreas de la ciencia interesadas en estos temas, de igual manera países, universidades e investigadores se suman cada vez en mayor número a éstas líneas de investigación.
